adamski Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Went for a flick around Rozelle and Blackwattle this afternoon. It was slow going at first, but then hit a patch of flatties- couple of smaller fish and a mummy that was pushing 60 cm, all in the space of under 10 mins. Caught a little whiting too, so I put on a bigger lure with a white profile on the off-chance that there was a jewie hanging around the deeper areas at high tide, but no love apart from another couple of little flatties and a few pesky tailor. It was nice to get out and catch a fish after yesterday (whole day at Rose Bay for one little pike) and the weather stayed okay. Thanks for reading, Adam
rockfisherman Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Good report, good that you got some action after not much the day before. Harry
Krispy ! Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Nice flattys there adamski, gotta be happy with that 60cm one
adamski Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks gents, best thing was about a minute or two before hooking the bigger fish a couple of little kids had stopped with their parents to watch. They were super-excited when I landed it and started begging their dad to take them fishing next weekend. Hopefully a couple of little raiders in the making
