Where to fish early October?

Hi Guys

Im thinking of taking a week off work first week of October only Ive had strict instructions from the wife if I take leave I have to go away for the week not be at home. The son has exams the following week & has been studying like mad & if I stay home I will make too much noise. So I was thinking some where in NSW , Im pretty sure Murray cod season starts then but I was also thinking some where coastal South West Rocks or Eden but what fish are on the bite at that time?

Any help or suggestions???

I can't help you with the fishing, but we used to travel down to Narooma all the time - I love that part of the world!

Depends what you wanna chase the kings Really start to fire up at South West Rocks that time of the year

Thats the sort of info I'm chasing thanks Tyrone07 I've only heard of snapper at SWR. Now if nothing is on offer down south SWR it is, could be a bit early for kings at Jervis Bay.

We usually fish a bit further north up at Wooli if you know it, but I have fished South West rocks the October long weekend a few times and have always got some decent kings. Always good for decent reds though as well that time of year
