dpinta Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Hi all, I have a friend in the Campbelltown area that would like to take her son for a quick, easy fish. I suggested to start off in one of the local ponds as it should be easy and fun. My question is.. does anyone know of a pond in the Narellan area where she might be able to go? Thanks
ambrose607 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Good timing dpinta. I'm going to Camden tomorrow i was talking to a guy at the shopping center who told me about the fishing there. Park at the soccer fields at belgenny reserve and fish under the bypass bridge. It's a cycle way so pretty easy access. I'll be there about 3pm so if you're friend needs some help i can help them. All the ponds and lakes under Campbelltown Council are no fishing allowed.

ambrose607 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Hi papafish. It's the Nepean river. Fish I've been told that are there bass, perch, eel tailed catfish and your nuisance fish like eels and carp. As for eating i don't know but i wouldn't.
ambrose607 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Got heaps of bites. All from mosquitoes. Nice area but insect repellant is a must.
