Welster Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 We set off for the day with modest expectations glad to just be on the water. Fishing with my uncle who has struggled to get on the water lately we planned on keeping it short and sweet. The first spot didn't produce and the second just a puffer fish the third our luck changed. A couple of throw backs, then my uncle landing a nice blue swimmer luckily enough we netted him. Out of nowhere my second unattended rod took off. I picked it up and it was on. Good weight and a few solid runs I was eagerly anticipating a good fish and I wasn't disappointed. My PB bream 355mm. The rest of the day resulted in a few more throwbacks and a overall a nice day on the water, very happy with that on a day of low expectations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
adamski Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Well done on your new PB mate! Do like the face-on shot, showing the fish in all its buck-toothed glory
350chev Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 That's a nice fat bream. Great work. Dan Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
amkr Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Love it! The humble bream is underrated as a fish. Once I learned how long they live I gained a bit of respect for them. The big ones can put up a bit of a fight too!
