Shaggytrevally Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 The original post was removed because i didn't follow the rule's regarding blocking out the location ect, Anyway it was on the hacking and used dead squid baits and pillies. Fishing the bottom 2 hours of the low tide either side and the top of tide 2 hours either side. A good day was had at my favorite spot. Also have to say cheers to the bloke who gave me a couple of bags of fresh squid at the ramp he caught over night, they worked a treat. School holidays so hopefully get out more with the boy.
Jay88 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Nice tailor mate! Well done! Quick question, is it true tailors hit hard on fast retrieve lures also? Regardless, good catch!

nickb111 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 However, I have found that as least during winter the tailor are more likely to strike on a medium retrieve rather than retrieving as fast as you can go
