Any help is wanted

Hey raiders.

Due to work committments and sometimes unable to plan big sessions i have decided to put my jewie hunt on hold and decide to try hook my first kingy!! (Hopefully will be a bit more achieveable haha)

So my first question is what are my chances land based on the central coast.

I have a mate that has a few reliable squid and potty mullet spots for live bait.

Im not too sure on much on kingys. I have started to studying them on here. I want to be able to target them 2 ways. One on live bait and another on lures ranging from metal slugs to stick baits and soft plastics.

Can someone really experienced help me out with everything i need to know and also i will be purchasing another aspinning combo. Can someone help me out with a few recommendations for one which will be prodemently for lures but occasionally live baiting. Need to have a good whipping action for lure distance. And be able to handle the fight of a kingy.
