rockfisherman Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Hi raiders I've been hoping to get a blackie session in. As usual iv had my eye on the swell forecast all week. And according to the forecast the swell was going to be under a metre. Not so. Sets were rolling in at about 2.5m at south coogee. It was quite troubling because I got a good down and hooked up and dropped the fish, I had to move on because the swell was up near my waist. Spent the next hour moving from rock to rock trying to find a safe productive spot to fish. After 6-7 location changes climbing, carrying gear and jumping over rocks I found a spot. I finished the morning with 4 blackies, dropped 2 also. Harry
rockfisherman Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Happy the morning ended with a feed.
Yowie Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 At least you managed a few. Was going to have a swim at Wanda this morning, turned on the surf cam and it was white frothy water way out from the beach, then I saw the Beach Closed sign in the sand. Some-one issued the wrong forecast again.
rockfisherman Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Managed a few, but was on the verge of chucking the towel in, almost decided to go get a good coffee instead of the last couple moves. Harry
