Overdraft
We got good numbers of squid today but kings were hard to come by. Even with live squid the big kings wouldn't bite.
Spudly
Also fished on Saturday, plenty of squid but losing the heads to rats.. also fished on Thursday, but kept losing bait to rubbish fish, within 30 minutes we had lost a live bait tank full of squid for zip... 3 other boats in the area looked to be having the same problem. If you want to turn a reel just look for the schools of kings on the surface at Point Perp from 530am til about 9am. If you cant find them use a downrigger or a poor mans downrigger. There are a few legals mixed into and amongst the schools. Dan

Swell and the backwash made downrigging a bit messy, Boat is in for a tidy up with the fibreglasser so pick it up in 2 weeks and will have a few days to myself to chase em again.. Boys got kings to 17kg today down there.
