G'day raiders,

So after running around mad like the herd and every man and his dog shopping I managed to get the mrs to a tackle store! She says "alright what do you want". To my reply "one of everything on the store?".

Well, that was my tactic, start off big, then settle for something I really wanted at a price that was affordable.

So I I'm getting a new stradic fk4000 for my snapper fishing as my plfuger is done and dusted.

Hopefully I get my wish, what are other raiders hoping to get for Xmas?

Best wishes all,

Cheers scratchie!!!

Im a little less subtle than you Scratchie

I just print out the adds for the things I want "need" and leave them on the breakfast counter before I go to work.

And what do you know they arrive just before Xmas.

Thinking on Jeff.

Shouldn't you just ask for one of those big foam rubber hands ( football style)

So you can give a big wave good bye as the fish swim away after busting you off???

;)

I have enough fishing tackle to suit my needs, so I don't need more.

I have a loving family who allow me to go fishing whenever I want.

I have some good mates to share a few ales with.

I have Fishraider so I can share others fishing experiences.

So what is it that I want for Christmas?

I want people to be considerate of each other, to think about how the other person feels.

I want peace and joy to be spread to all parts of the world and

I want to wish everybody, what they wish for themselves.

Cheers, Big Neil.

What happened to your want of the big Stella and the Ian Miller combo?

Gotta keep wishing!

(I love mine)

JD

Lucky you JD. Just seen the total of what the Mrs bought all the kids for Xmas. I think I might end up with a sienna combo :(

Probably Steve but that would be better than a box of Krispy creme! :)

Neil that is a lovely post and I agree with all you have expressed.

Not trying to hijack this post Jeff - I would NEVER take Stewy into a tackle shop and ask him what he wants sheesh! We are having a big garage sale soon and a lot of his fishing gear will be on sale:)

I spent 2 days last week in the garage cleaning up his gear. I bought a lot of plastic storage systems and sorted it all down to every hook!

There were about 8 backpacks and bags that had been taken on various trips and unemptied. They all had hats, hooks, braid scissors, line, lures blah blah. The tackle box collection is tragic too.

Neil here is what you are expressing

Surface Whiting, lots of surface Whiting. How I get them wrapped up and under the tree I don't know, but I will figure it out :biggrinthumb:

I assume you'll put a post up closer to? If we have any money left after our holidays I might just have to see what kind of bargains I can pick up ;-)

That's a lovely post Donna. Maybe you and Stewy should have an auction over a couple of weekends, to off load some of the excess.

I can't think of ONE thing in your garage that requires selling in a garage sale.

Its all much loved and stuff that could be used! (Stewie told me that).

ONLY 8 unemptied backpacs (They will be needed at some stage)

Merry Christmas

Well said Big Neil,

I'm a little like you, I fortunately have most things that I want/need. I suppose at times we would all like more, but unfortunately there are many out there that have absolutely nothing.

Merry Xmas to everyone

To be able to enjoy a session off the stones without being overun by anglers with poor manners and understanding of the unwritten rules of rock fishing
