Northern Beaches Blackfish

Hi all, new on here and wanted to say hi.

After dropping into my Mums yesterday and finding my old blackfishing gear I went out this morning to one of my old spots that I haven't fished for years ( been interstate working ) at a protected spot from the southerly swell near Whale Beach.

It was frustrating at first due to not using a centrepin reel for a long time!!! I'm quite sure I had more birds nest in the morning than the birds that live in the cliff structure behind me.

Any way just like riding a bike you never forget and all started going well with the casting, so with the float finally making it to the water the drifts began and so did the fish, ended up with a feed for this afternoons BBQ, can`t complain as it was good to just go blackfishing again and hopefully catch some more next trip.
