Walker2795 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Hey guys just wanted to ask for some advice on which jetties in the harbour have really good activity for kids such as bream and other little species. Thanks in advance
jeffb5.8 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Sydney is a pretty big place, I have taken my kids to some of the parks around Putney and Hunters Hill, they provide easy access to the water and after 30mins on no bites there is a play ground for they to go too. I prefer places that are not too crowed, like Putney park as there is plenty of space, some of the wharves around hunters hill can be very crowded. Edited January 12, 2016 by jeffb5.8
Ivo Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) not jetties but lane cove river can produce. Any of the parks around balmain can also shine. You're using bait i presume? Blackwattle and Rozelle bay can be slow but produce decent bream and flatties. Could also try for mullet around the canal entrance, but they're finicky at the best of times. If fishing LCR then staying on the hunters hill side is often better as there is more drop offs and structure. Edit: Iron Cove bridge can also work, and is close to parks etc Edited January 13, 2016 by Ivo
