Yes rather lazy on my behalf. Well not the pretiest day off Sydney. Swell around 2M from the se and wind the same at most 15kn.

No current at all, nor was there a visible line in sight. Temp still 23.7 and water is a bit coloured. Saw fish coming up at 5M. Snapper have been in abundance since December in deep water. Today they fired on bottle squid. Bit well all day even up untill lunch but slowed just a tad at tide change. Water must have been cold in patches on the bottom as we nailed a few pike. The real good news is the miniscule loss of tackle to jackets although I lost a beast to something and came up with half a rig and just a pissy nanny on the top hook. Nannygai are in good numbers with the snapper but jeez they are a pest to get the snapper out of them. Only the odd mowie out there as well.

We fished on the mud. This is also from same spot just before xmas.
