3.5 years ago i recall getting sick of catching aussie sambos and since that day i haven't managed to get one until today.

Fished 1 hr at the change of tide. I noticed that my rod kept bending but the fish would not stick. Switch to gang hooks and i got this nice 62 cm salmon. I miss the fight these guys put up and i got my 7 yr old to man the rod whilst i grabbed the fish. He thought it was great. In sambos mouth i found a set of gang hooks and some line that was evidence if a previous battle.

We grilled the fish fillets in bread crumbs and it actually went down well.
