First Jew But not the monster

Well guys headed out to budgewoi beach about 2 nights ago armed with some fresh yakkas and hawkesbury squid. Fished from about 7:30 to 1:00 am didn't get a single bite until about 10:00 pm when I launched out my butterflied yakka and set my rod in the holder. Waited about 10 min and my rod buckled over it bent down pretty low for a fish of this size, anyway couple of min pulled in my first jewie but not the monster I lost on my previous trip, but hey a first Jew is a Jew no matter what size.

Not a bad Jew at all, in fact I don't think there is such a thing!!

Took me 20+ years to land my first one and targeting them many times in that period, the last year has been good.

You've cracked the code now time to use that info to work on the next one!
