Fish track - water temp

Hi all

Yesterday fishing the northern beaches I found water at 24.2m about 200m offshore !

According to fish track that water should be around 22.8 or 22.9

Am I missing something or reading

The charts wrong ?

They aren't always accurate, if there are clouds when readings were taken they are a bit out or they could have been old, even within 4-6hrs the currents can move the water and temp breaks around very quickly.

I find more times than not they give you a good starting point, the rest you have to figure out once your out there.
