I have been observing behavioral patterns that lead me to consider a link between depression and a lack of social opportunities.

I have qualifications and experience, my readings suggest a possible correlation between isolation (fishing) and depression, and the self medicating aspect of this condition.

This is obviously not a reflection of the vast majority of fishoes, however those that fit this description are near to most.

I have worked in the area of mental health and D&A for a long time and seen a few people fall that would have benefited from friendly support.

I hope all fishoes (mates) look out for their buddies and contact local community centres when they need some HELP.
