Wet weather luderick

Well the weekend rolls around and so does the east coast low! This awesome cause it will flood the trout streams causing fish to run and the fly fishing should be epic for me next week. But this is about luderick....so after sitting here yesterday with Paul saying lets go no lets can it no lets go I'm saying maybe not as the next downpour hit....we got a a break in the rain. We quickly went and got bait and burley and headed off to a sheltered spot. Arrived at 7am and fished for three hours. We managed 8 fish and I dropped a lot! I lost count it was one of those bites you lipped hooked them and pulled the hooks. They were not small fish either. Good morning on trying conditions! Now looking forward to a week chasing trout atvthevend of season in Jindabyne.
