Just wanted to know when the hairtail season finishes. frankS Posted August 5, 2016 Share Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Still worth a shot I was up in Warratah bay on Monday night for a few hours, ended up with 3 from 4 ft to 5 ft not huge fish for this time of the year but still worth the trip. Hopefully you get them next time I was at Jerusalem bay last night, we got plenty of bites throughout the night but only managed to land one Where abouts were you fishing? takethebait Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 We were on the outer edge of Waratah Bay. Had probably three or four times over the evening when they were around biting (and getting away), but the rest of the night was very quiet. We packed up about 11:30.
