Raymondo
Anywhere with broken ground , weed, gravel , somewhere they can hide etc. Anywhere with lights at night , jettys etc. Anywhere that holds smallish bait fish with little to no current. lol almost anywhere. Raymondo
Also if your using artificial jigs this is a case of the expensive ones out fishing the cheapies , in my experience at least.
Mike89
As others have said there are a billion and one spots around the harbour, you just need to find one convenient and close by that works for you! Kelp, clear water, patches of sand and nooks and crannies for the squid to hide away in are what you are looking for. Google Earth is your friend here. As others have said, the night lights at some of the ferry wharves and jetties do a great job of attracting squid. What area are you generally fishing? Let me know and I will send you a PM of some places that have produced for me if I can think of any near you.
