Houdini
Went fishing Saturday lunch time eastern suburbs. A loaf of fresh bread for bait and stale old loaf and old crusts for burley. I caught about 10 undersize drummer a couple of kelpfish and 3 wrasse. Got bricked by a bigger fish and landed 2 keepers pic is the bigger one 46cm. I also caught a seagull which flew into the line as I cast out and a small blue fish the ones that live at Lord Howe Island. Both gull and blue fish released unharmed. What were conditions on the rocks like. it was rough as guts out the front so I tucked in the north side just inside the bay. still enough white water and wash but protected from the worst of the wind and swell. this spot only fishes well for drummer when it is rough otherwise it's crowded with swimmers during summer
