MattGb1989
Hey raiders, Once again i find myself search Google Earth looking for possibly spot for a session or two and have come across Oatley Park baths and like what I see. I searched for any topics for the area and found a few that show great promise for the area but are many years old so I'm wondering if anyone still fishes the area and if so is it worth giving it ago. Don't want exact details just wonna know if it's as good as it looks. And at the same time am also looking for a fishing buddy so everyone's more then welcome to PM and organise a session Cheers brownie
Rob81
Best way is to go down and check it out. I've tried it a couple of times in the last year. One was bad timing of conditions, the water was moving too fast to fish and a storm appeared out of nowhere. Other time I brought along the wrong bait, at this time I was there the place was full of decent sized mullets amongst heaps of undersized other fishes. Its a nice comfy place to fish though. Rob81
Yeah, also just remembered. Last time I was there the jetty there had just fallen apart from the serve storm (not long before I went). Not sure if they had fixed it up now. But you can fish off the sides, just gets really shallow in low tide and snaggy but alof the mullet just cruise in the ankle high water at times.
