blaxland
Hi Raiders, I was on my way home from fishing and came across a tender adrift near seaforth bluff I rescued it and called the water police who asked me to take it to the blue buoy at beauty point and they would get it later. Anyway back at the roseville boat ramp to find my windscreen wiper blades have cut off somebody is slicing the rubber blade off the wipers. I looked around the car park and there is heaps evidence of this being a big problem evidence being strips of wiper blades everywhere. As this is not the first time it has happened to me I decided to lodge a report with the Police and urge anybody who has had the same thing happen to also report it. Back to the fishing arrived at obelisk bay about 7 Am drift for squid straight out from the cave and in line with the obelisk and a lighthouse up the harbour two in about 40 mins over to North harbour hoping to get salmon but didnt see any I am going to try a fly on a float rig, similar to a blackfish rig, to try and match the hatch. Tried a few spots ended up with a 40cm taylor on pillies and a decent flounder on SP as keepers and threw back a few under size trevally. Cheers Edited September 6, 2017 by blaxland
browncrab
Crows sometimes pull off the wiper blades. I've seen them do it as it happened to me. It literally is like they have been sliced off. This was happening in my workplace carpark and the solution was to wrap the wipers in a towel.
