Ribs
Went out yesterday from the hacking, no squid on our way out and the bombie was nursing 2.5m waves , watched a tinnie with 5 on board head Sth (crazy) we had a few drops for kings Sth of jibbon only rock cod, tried for flatys in 35m no luck, only a stinking barracoota (great crab bait though). the seas were not friendly today? Headed back in for the last flick of the day and managed this 1.4kg green eye. Not the best day out but beautiful morning out with great company. However, we can't complain as this guys day seems worse. Sitting on bundeena beach atm.... Big swell on weekend might have something to do with it not sure. Pick your days! Ribs
Thanks everyone, I have pulled a 1.9kg green eye from the same patch , but this one was still better than average. Fed the whole family and a nice big squid head frozen for when the Kings show up. The cruiser apparently broke its mooring on Sunday night whilst the owners were on board asleep, they did not have time to start it before it rapidly blew on to the beach , again pick your days!
