GioSparro
Hey all, im looking for some land based fishing spots around botany bay. Im just looking for common fish, bream, flathead, trevally and anything else that will eat a prawn or pillie. I have fished a jetty next to capt cook bridge but besides yakkas there is nothing you can take home
Fufu
Try fishing the flats next to St.George sailing club with live nippers and prawns for whiting and bream. You can also try the groynes around dolls point, careful though. They can be slippery Fufu
robrooster
Big trevallys around Dolls point groynes, but they'll reef ya at your feet half the time. Never seen an undersized flattie there either. Cheers
GioSparro
Ive never fished groynes, should i cast into the bay, off the sides or just a few metres out?
