Guest lbgking Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Hi all, Fished last weekend in the Hawkesbury classic comp in a crew of 4. 2 old hands and 2 first timers. Arrived at Patonga wharf at 6 pm Friday to see that the boys had a tank of livies (yakkas) and set off to F/S for the night session. Boated one 85cm Jew at about 12:30am . Arrived back at Patonga 5am to find tent flooded and all the boys gear wet. Big girls packed up and went home with the boat Saturday. Competition won with a 10.2 KG Jew but good to see some stud bream weighed in. Thats it for the boat until next year will start fishing Avoca when water temp is up. If your up that way anchor 30 feet off Walkers point Yakkas on Daisy chains at 5M. Don't be shy with the burley
LEELEE Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Hi mate, I think the top spot went 20kg with the 10kg jew coming in second. Cheers Lee
