Big-Pete
The mullet is the same material as the Bass minnow but mullet shaped. Looks good just not sure how well it works Big Pete

Guest madsmc
G'day Pete I've been using them for some time now. I have a packet in the sand perch colours. They work pretty well on flathead, and I guess they would do the job on jews also, if you can get one in front of them. The tail gives off a good vibration when whipped, so it will work well when trying to attract predators. They're a pretty rugged plastic and well worth having in the tackle box. Big-Pete
Thanks for the input Guys I guess I will just have to go out and buy a couple of packets and do some research of my own. Keeps life interesting all this field testing Big Pete
kevvie
just to add another slant on this topic... i also have these in the sand perch color and have found them to be sub standard. I got outfished on a few occasions and i have never gone back. The moment i switched sp's i started getting into fish. Maybe it was the color or location but i have never had any great success on em
Matthead
Hi Big Pete, just read your post and thought I would shed some light on your question. I have a friend who had never used the softies before. So i lent him my Plastic dvd and the very next day he went out and bought rod, reel, line, leader, jig heads and some of the minnows that you mentioned. This is the result and good on him too!!
