Captain Pugwash
After a MASSIVE night with friends in Wollongong , we arrived home at 1.30 and went straight down to the Pig. Quick stop for some yakkas and off we head to Bluefish, dreaming of a repeat performance of last Sunday. The lack of wind was a pain in the butt and I had all sorts of problems getting the livies out on the balloons. Tangles, twists and turns, it was a bloody nightmare. Eventually got them sorted. Plenty of fish on the sounder, berleyed up and we were set. Started catching sweep then yakkas, it was all looking good. But of course, it was not to be. Not a single take on the livies. Starting to look like a wasted afternoon when you know who ( yes the legend known as Dollface ) hooks onto a King. She's using the rack raider with a strip of yakka fillet and away it goes! She does a great job of getting it boatside and into the net goes a just legal King for dinner. And thank the lord for that because we didn't get another bite all afternoon. I was thinking about how dissappointed I was until I remembered my post from last week. One Kingy is a good day and two is a great day. So, after a slight memory lapse, we actually had a good afternoon on the water. Cheers Pete
