Hi Fishos, We are heading up to Lake Macquarie this month for  few days fishing. Would anyone like to put us in some good fishing spots, what baits and species we should be targeting? Any info would be great fully appreciated.  Cheers

Hey mate I'm a local to the area of lake mac, click the link above ^^^

i have done a write up of where I fish in lake mac and locations, in regards to bait you can't  go wrong with prawns or chicken and parmy, pilchard goes alright too, if you are Belmont side of Swansea bridge, near Naru is a Fishermans warehouse they have fresh bait and always give some decent info on what is biting in the lake, if you are going by boat there are a couple of boat ramps just depends on where you are staying, if not heaps of land based spots i have listed in that pinned post.

feel free to gimme a pm if you want more in depth info and can point you in the right direction according to where you are staying in the lake, I'm a local so might see you at a spot. Also if your mean with a flick of a lure Swansea bridge on outgoing tide is pretty good for tailor and sometimes jewys
