ChrisDjordjevic
Hey Anglers, I'm usual a frequent boat fisherman patrolling the hawkwsbury river, but I won't have a boat this time. Going out with a friend on Wednesday and I'm looking for advice on where to go. We don't mind driving and we can trek through the terrain if need be. Focusing on flathead, kingys etc. Located in Sydney! Any advice would be fantastic.. thanks guys.

Any of the bays from middle head all the way to the harbour bridge - seeing bustups in the early morning - salmon, tailor and probably kingfish underneath. If the wind direction is favourable then I would try ballooning a live bait from a land based position! Mind you, life's like a box of chocolates, you could get more that what you bargained for 🤪

I'd also bring a light, longish rod if you have one (9-10ft) to cast out small metals - bustups might happen and the range with small metals (5-28g) will give you a chance at the pelagics.
