mrsswordfisherman
This was posted below from Port Hacking Game Fishing Club It is with great sadness that we have learned that Port Hacking Life Member Ross Hunter has passed away yesterday. Ross was an absolute identity within the game fishing fraternity, known as a true gentlemen and one of the great Captains of his time. He shared his love of the sea through his mighty vessel Broadbill, and of course his trademark guitar, who could forget those songs such as “Shark Fishing and Big Tige”. He taught many club members and fishing enthusiasts how to fish and enjoy the ocean locally through his charter business and as well at his beloved Port Stephens where he tagged 21 marlin in a single day. Our sincere thoughts go out to his family. RIP Captain Ross. Funeral details to come when available.

TunaSickle
I went on a couple of Charters with him years ago. Such a nice and funny guy. When the fishing went quiet he would break out his guitar and jam. RIP fishing friend.
