Bobby.V
Hey guys, I'm in the process of fitting out this little tinnie for fishing. I'm in two minds about either a casting deck using the 2 front seats as the supports, or removing the middle seat and building a floor. I like the casting deck idea but it's not going to help the stability on this old Quinnie tinnie. It's not great when I stand on the seats on the water so I'm leaning towards removing the middle seat and building a floor, brining the centre of gravity lower. How does it look structurally? I know a lot of tinnies use the middle seat for support but this seat has a thick rib running right under it and the seat is only welded to the rib on each side, not the whole way along. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
