Fished near Lilli Pilli early this morning.

The reddies are only just legal, quite a few also caught under the limit, and along with the flounder, bit on strips of salted mack tuna caught last week. The tuna attracted the reddies like bees to a honey pot. Reddie fillets tonight.

The tailor took pillies, and the larger one took the pillie from the bottom, and fought near the bottom most of the time, made me think it was a larger reddie for a while until it headed to the surface and jumped. No, not a reddie.

Headed to the South West Arm to see if the tuna action was continuing from last Friday, but 2 idiots on jet skis motored around and around at high speed and that was the end of that. I did spot quite a few sea mullet jumping, but threw out some bread crusts along the edge of the weeds and a few sand mullet turned up as well. Pulled out 3, plus the bream, on small pieces of bread, until a pelican flew up to the boat and no more fish about.

Headed home after that. The bream and small flounder were still kicking, so released them.
