Sharky
Hit the bay today with Tunofun KiKilla and myself . Got out onto the Bay about 530 am and headed out to get some live bait and once the live well was full we proceeded to throw plastics at the marker boys .................... No kingfish we then decided to trawl skirts around the mouth of the bay, After about 15 mins we had a hookup i landed a kingy but it was 5 cm short of 60 so we sent him back. There were birds working the area and as we trolled past them we got a double hookup Brett and Chris were on and soon after Brett landed our first legal Kingy, Chris had one of the same size but the cheeky fkr spat the hooks boat side . Lures out again and another double oowwwwww.......Yeahhhhhhh and we boated them both mine went 64 FINALLY my first legal lure caught kingy Time to celebrate After that Chris Took over as skipper and put us onto many more Kings, Thanks Chris your a champ we proceeded to catch 11 kings all up and we dropped 4 but you get that. After 3 hours of getting rubber duckied in a bathtub we decided to head back in the bay so we trolled on the way back and landed a couple of salmon that were in the jumping mood and they were awsome to watch. Once inside we anchored up at the point and sent out the livies after 15 min of nothing my overhead with a very tight drag started to bend and scream at the same time IM ON ........... But it was short lived but man did he pull hard that fish felt huge. Soon after Chris started pulling in trevs and showing me and brett how it was done With 4 big keepers we moved to the third runway for the last of the run in but we didnt even get a touch . We were in good spirits as we had such an awsome morning blessed by such an awsome fighting fish. I cant wait to get out and do it again . Thanks for another great day out Brett i had a ball and thanks for the great company and knowledge you shared Chris i learnt alot Pictures to be posted soon
