Guest Guest123456789
@kiwicraig and i headed out on his boat first light Saturday morning. We headed out east of box head targeting flatties. Craig got off to a strong start, going 3-0 ahead and one good 60cm+ model. I left my rod at home and Craig kindly lent me a rod/rig which was not designed for flatties, so after some tweaks thanks to a jacket cutting me off a re rig resulted in a catch up to the skipper. Craig’s new radio was a hit, the Black Eyed Peas and Leonard Cohen put them off the bite but Led Zepplin fired them up. We ended up with 11 in total. The pilchards did the most damage. We tried and failed to tempt a reef fish on the way back in. Edited July 22, 2019 by Guest123456789 Typo
kingie chaser
Targeted, caught in the esky. Well done FHL 👍 Although not sure about the music theory? Ive heard music can increase the growth rate of plants but never heard of it attracting fish 😂
GoingFishing
Great work mate a nice bag of flatties there which will make some very good eating. I have heard of music spooking fish in shallow water ! But never in water deep enough for bottom bashing flathead
