fliesentom
you can saY IT LOUD. after spinning for a while .... nothing goes on until someone on the rock platform came up with the idea of ganged hooks and some salted garfish. BUSTED says the kink and breakfast was served after just a few cranks on the egg beater. nice example of a yellowfin king 85 cm. ok lets do that again...so i thought?! next garfish please. no luck ,cast after cast. king has gone home for after brekky nap ok lets try some squid . suspended under a barrel float again dead silence all morning while the swall turned into an easterly. at 10 am i am headn to palmy for swimm and trim . you know ...girls wise . cant come home with smelly belly as my wife used to say as i came home last time and full of squid ink. but after all it was i good morning with lots of sun and sea we all like. fliesentom
awesome mate, where about did you fish? north or south end? I tried fishing from Waley before but seems to be bit dangerous sometimes... not at all. only on a direct easterly with a swell more than 3m .that happens mostly beginn of autum. northely end ot a reef 70 meters 2 0clock position and a nice dropp of where those buggers used to hang out .later on in summer the bonito and the tuna comes along too. good spinning in the morning at sunrise later on in the day the fish sticks around and is waiting for livies on a float yiu can catch on a rigg. if nothing is there, go and chase the blackfish . i fish this place since years and came home eith fish in 90 % all year round. i also go spearfishing around palmy and the joey. how about you? i know some good fishing spots ,care for swaping spots as iam always up for a fishing session. greetings tom
gianniz
Thanks for the info, I have a rough idea where you are pointing to. I tried fishing off the southern end (where the rock pool is) and catch couple of salmon and stuff. 4-6years back i saw bunch of guys spinning and catching heaps of bonitos from this spot. Do you have to wear the metal spikes for this place you mentioned? do the swell actually come up?? Anyway i would love to have a crack at this place. Would prefer if you can guide me I just bought myself a 12foot spin rod/reel and so I am dying to give it a go!!! PS How often do you fish there? I live in blacktown so I get to go there about 2-3 times a months... This coming holiday I am planning to go every 3rd day not at all. only on a direct easterly with a swell more than 3m .that happens mostly beginn of autum. northely end ot a reef 70 meters 2 0clock position and a nice dropp of where those buggers used to hang out .later on in summer the bonito and the tuna comes along too. good spinning in the morning at sunrise later on in the day the fish sticks around and is waiting for livies on a float yiu can catch on a rigg. if nothing is there, go and chase the blackfish . i fish this place since years and came home eith fish in 90 % all year round. i also go spearfishing around palmy and the joey. how about you? i know some good fishing spots ,care for swaping spots as iam always up for a fishing session. greetings tom
