Hi everyone,

I can appreciate how the articles are clogging up the top of the Chat page.

But, rather than hide them so they only become available on searching, might it not be a good idea to have a separate forum in the General Fishing section? It could be caalled articles or Fishing Tips etc.

Not sure if you have read my response to this issue @Koalaboi

Initially we had very few articles and pinning was the way they were managed. They were stored on the server. We later had a drop down on the menu where all the other links are and the articles were all listed there. When the forum changed over to new servers the articles link was lost. Luckily I copied all the articles for the future. 

I have always encouraged members to submit articles to me for publication. Recently due to the pandemic lots of members have started to do great write ups. Thanks for your suggestion but adding more subforums is not the best way to manage it. 

There is already a specific area for an area for Articles. It is a new addition to this platform. There is also another area called Clubs that we may set up as well. 
The Articles area has to be configured. These articles will be stored on the server and linked. 
 

The Deckee IT manager is working hard on major projects at the moment. Rest assured once I get the URL I will get this sorted. Please be patient as it will take me some time to are construct this repository.
