QUINTREX Lazeabout 4.5

Hi Raiders

I am looking at buying a Quintrex Lazeabout 4.5, 1981 hull. Has a 2stroke Yamaha 50, 98 model.

No hours meter. The hull and the motor appear to have been fastidiously maintained. 

Trying to get an idea what you folks think it might be worth. The guy has it advertised for $9500, but will take $9k.

I didn't realise the thread was gone too.

Anyway I'd like to thank everyone for their input. It was definitely worthwhile. I submitted a reduced offer of 7k. He dropped his lowest-he-would-go-down-to-price to 7500, and we did the deal at that.

Michael. Congratulations on doing the deal. You must be happy with getting the boat at a good reduction in price.

Now that you have done the deal you may be able to convince us guys who was putting doubt on the original asking price that the boat is truly worth what you have now paid for it. I'm sure you have got yourself a nice outfit that should give you and the family years of joy.

Keep on posting updates and don't be a stranger on the site, we all like reading other peoples adventures.

And please post more photos of the boat and yourself holding fish.
