Fishing buddy needed for Montague Island trip

Weather dependent of course but looking to go next weekend 12/13 December, fully equipped Brooker 510.  Hoping to drag some skirts and bottom bounce the island.  Accommodation organised already.  My regular fishing buddy is busy until the New Year and with the Kings allegedly in town I'm keen to go.  I'm in Canberra and usually take the ute down on the Friday night.

That's a shame FB, next weekend (19/20) would have been good but busy this weekend. Could have dragged my boat up as well.

I picked up kings and bonitos pulling halcos's at Auginish reef just to the south of Monty a couple of days ago. The kings have been hit and miss, which is typical kings but the snapper have really improved over the last week.

Just be aware its the start of the silly season. Theres a boat on the bottom in front of the bar from the weekend and the bar wasn't even bad.
