Remote River Man
Just wondering what everybody does in regard to handy, easily accessible, safe storage of their fishing gaffs aboard. Any photos of your setup welcome! Also, does anyone also bother carrying a boat hook pole?

Easy enough to grab when fishing solo and gaffing my own fish.

You'll be the first to know when I actually need one.In the mean time I'm just wanting to catch a fish bigger than my prawn.😉
noelm
Just in the side pocket, no need for any sort of specialised device, as long as it's safe from feet/legs/bare flesh, you hardly need a gaff in a split second, most fish worthy of gaffing take some time to get in, so as long as a gaff is accessible, then it's fine. The gaffs have a plastic tube threaded over hook to prevent inadvertent accidents - the tube also stops the gaff catching onto stuff until ready to be used. The first few seconds of this video show how easily the gaff plastic tube is moved to the side to expose the gaff point.
