George's river new pb - 30/11/21

Headed out rather late last night to fish the low tide turn at 12am on the kayak. The water was sitting at 21c & was rather dirty so it would've been interesting to see what's around. I Didn't get many bites until the tide change came around where I managed to hook a fat healthy 40cm bream. Had a hard time releasing him for some odd reason, but he kicked off after 10 minutes of revival. Bites slowed once the tide started heading in with the occasional bite. No mulloway today unfortunately, but happy to be in the 40cm club.

Pulled anchor just after 1am. Only used 3 squid the whole night.

Monster bream @Restyle!

I loved that you spent so long trying to receive that fish and didn't give up, respect🙏

wouldn't want to see a 20 odd year old fish floating down the river & I didn't want to eat it. a fish that age in my eyes deservers to spend the rest of its life breeding & living happily.
