Slow day saved by late arvo green eyes

Got my boat back on the water today after and electrical refit and new lights. Plan was to head up the Georges to throw vibes into deeper holes. Only managed a flatty in the low 50s in the morning then spent a few hours prospecting for likely spots.

Pretty slow day so headed out into Botany Bay for squid about 3:30 in the arvo and managed a hook up first cast. Lobbed my second rod behind the squid and nailed another. What’s to lose? I lobbed the first jig behind the second and hooked up again! Triple hook up of good sized hoods. Same again half an hour later so some good hoods coming home.

Wow that's a cracker of a day on the squid Rob. Don't get many days with them coming in like that. Nice bit of tucker there. bn

It sure saved a slow day. First cast for squid and a triple!
