james Cutler
Took the gamble the weather report was wrong. Nice & quite. Just after sunrise. Landed a couple of nice bream. Then a 48cm snapper. Another snapper 46cm & a trevally. Waves were starting to be nasty, so gave it away for another day. Like this retired life. Fishing & football.

james Cutler
@faker Near the swimming pool. Doesn't really matter. North or South work ok. I find near the pool the best. Rig. 12FT Penn prevail rod 6-12kg with a Penn Spinfisher 6000 reel.. 12FT Ugly Stik Gold with a Penn Slammer 4500 reel. This is a back up rig. What rig were you using?

james Cutler
First of all it is the ledge in front of the swimming pool. You have to be very careful of the waves. If it is rough. Move. It can get dangerous. I use mono. I found it less hassle than braid & not so expensive. You can buy a good mono at the half the price of a good braid. I use 20 Pound line. You never know what you are going to catch off the rocks. Especially when a kingfish arrives or a shark.
Pickles
Gotta love “Curly”, I don’t rock fish anymore (too unstable), but it was a favourite spot years (many years) ago and good Luderick spot.
