Is parramatta ferry wharf actually any good for fishing

I’m targeting bream,flathead and mullet but what bait would work for flathead or should a rapala crushcity lure work fine for them at parra also my spare bait will be bread for mullet and bream

Ive fished of the walkway on the weir near the wharf a few times using mullet fillets and I have had a lot of success. I get plenty of bites which result in bream and flathead .

Also i had a monster fish drag my rod into the water once while using mullet fillet😢

I find that mullet are easy to catch on the freshwater side with bread or worms and a float rig.

I have fished rydalmere and had success with flatties in the warmer months. Parra wharf is a similar environment so I’m sure it should be good too. Crushcity should work well if they are biting.
 

Lures have been a bit slow this winter so I’d suggest keeping some other bait along with bread as back up  @eaglesilk5 gave some good advice so I’d suggest giving mullet fillets a shot
