Bardy
Late start today... Hit the bay about 8:45... Nice conditions for about an hour, then the mild SE came through. Wasn't too bad though. All Fatties were found between 140-160ft North East of Osbourne. Hit a sneaky reef up on the way back in for a pair of Squid. The Rock Cod (Poor man's Lobster) latched onto a squid jig ... never seen that before ! Job done.
big Neil
Good job Bardy, you ended up with enough for a decent couple of feeds. Well done. Not surprised that a fish would attack a squid jig, if they can fool a squid, they can fool a fish. Nice looking boat you have. Cheers, bn
Yowie
Nice bag of flatties, couple of squid as well. I have had a good sized dusky flattie grab a squid jig, however, it dropped off just under the surface.

Aussie_fisher
Solid feed. fish on squid jugs aren’t that uncommon I think. I’ve never actually caught a squid on my squid jig but caught a flounder on it 🤣🤣
TheFishyFisherman
I was fishing for squid with a friend one night and he got a pufferfish on a squid jig (or blowfish - I’m not bothered to learn the different species because obviously I don’t target them).
Larkin
A couple of squid and a bag of flatties - well done 🤙 I’ve had a baker rip up my squid jig out there too & a baracoota swallow my sinker - it went in its mouth and out through its gills.

Yeah.. A Baker I can understand, they're ravenous at times. Swallowing a sinker though, that's next level !
