wazatherfisherman
The young lady did her best, this should fall back on the selection panel for throwing her in the 'Breakdance' category when this was clearly 'hip-hop'

mrsswordfisherman
She is a very smart woman, has a PhD. Below is from Wikipedia Gunn was born in Hornsby NSW. She danced as a child, and was trained in ballroom, tap, and jazz styles. Gunn attended Macquarie University for her bachelor's degree in contemporary music, graduating in 2009, and for her PhD in cultural studies, graduating in 2017. Her PhD thesis focused on "the intersection of gender and Sydney’s breaking culture". Thesis - Deterritorializing gender in Sydney's breakdancing scene: a B-girl's experience of B-boying (2017) She is a lecturer at Macquarie University in the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language and Literature Now, here is what I reckon she will do next. She will research heavily and publish a paper on the Olympic experience. Her teamie, a male, wore the same Australian uniform to do his performance and did not get trolled for it. He only scored 1 point for his 3 battles and has not been trolled online. She has perfect evidence and data to play with from the tons of online trolling about her. I know of someone who is a breakdancer. Apparently she is right up there with many wins under her belt! Not many of us would be experts on breaking to give comment. The last laugh might be on her and she may make a bit of cash out of it.
XD351
Yep definitely no expert here ! Closest I get to dancing is hopping around my boat being chased by a flathead that is hell bent on causing serious blood loss 🤣🤣🤣 Raygunn stood up and gave it a crack - we can’t ask for any more than that , shame about the trolls though . I’m still trying to work out why Golf is an Olympic sport but Fishing isn’t. You could have distance or accuracy casting in there for sure ! Good on her to give it a go and why not get behind her like we did with Eric the Eel back in Sydney 2000. 2 hours ago, XD351 said: Closest I get to dancing is hopping around my boat being chased by a flathead that is hell bent on causing serious blood loss 🤣🤣🤣 I’m still trying to work out why Golf is an Olympic sport but Fishing isn’t. You could have distance or accuracy casting in there for sure ! Agree with this too! 1) There should be a pike-eel-in-boat dance event 🤣 2) On the casting front, distance and accuracy would be one, and there should be fly casting events too. Australia would have a sensational casting and coaching team in fly casting.
