juicy233
This afternoon I decided to go for a quick squidding session after school down off clontarf pool as I've seen a few ink marks around the perimeter and having not caught many squid when looking for live bait off balmoral this winter, I wasn't very optimistic. After about 20 mins, on the drop I felt my line go tight and pulled up this nice little cuttlefish. I decided to keep him as bait for future endeavors. Another 20 mins or so later as I was about to pack up, I had one last cast and right at my feet, a fat cuttlefish emerged from under the pool netting and I was on again. I decided to let this one go as it looked pregnant. Good session hopefully can turn this cuttle into a fat kingie on the weekend!
TheFishyFisherman
I’ve seen a guy using whole cuttlefish as bait at balmoral a couple of days ago. Was that you? I also never knew that fishing on the pool structure was allowed. Edited August 19 by TheFishyFisherman
