Parsley Bay - Donut

The warm weather had me itching for fishing. I bought some weedless hooks I was keen to try out for the summer. 

Aside from minor ticks, no bites. I could see some fish on the surface but nothing major on my line. 

First outing of the season. Fingers crossed!

Tide: Runout

Location: Parsley Bay - Land

Gear - 6lb flurocarbon, weedless hooks no weight and 2gram, 3 inch soft plastics

Sorry to hear of the donut, hope it still filled the bucket all the same. Is that parsley bay on the Hawkesbury or in the harbour? Guessing it’s the former?

I have been struggling to catch anything on a lure in recent weeks - tried the salt for 0 , tried the fresh for 0 - I’m at the stage where I’m telling myself it’s not really a fishing trip it’s more like a lure testing trip hoping it will make me feel better 😭😭😭😭😭
