Brooklyn dam

Hey raiders, 

 

I am wondering if anyone has ever fished the Brooklyn railway dam. It is shown on the angler access website that Brooklyn dam has been stocked with bass however I am unable to find evidence of anyone catching bass out of the Dam.

Supposedly 'Brooklyn railway dam' was stocked in 2009/2010 with 500 Aussie Bass. 'Brooklyn Dam' was stocked with 1,500 Aussie bass in 09'/10'. Can't seem to find a whole lot of info for you. The pic above confirms the stockings did happen.

I might have at fish at the dam next and I’ll let you know how it goes. Hoping for a big 12 year old bass.

I don’t know how it fared in the drought - may have dried up . Only one way to find out is to go fish it .

I’ve fished it a couple of times maybe ten years ago.  Caught some small bass.  My son camped there a few months ago and water level was good.  Definitely worth a go.

Thanks for the info Graham that gives me a lot more confidence hearing that someone has at least caught a bass out of the Dam.
