Went out to a spot that around north Sydney,

got there at 10.30!! Not the best time, but once Hurley up

and on my first cast!!! I landed this bad boy!! A Big A T! Going 57cm, mini GT eh🤣

burley with 3 loft of bread and my special prawn mix which I got from the tackle shop, works

like a treat!!! The bream also came out to play.

A common Silver Trevally, distinguished by the black spot on the gill cover (plus other differences) at that size, all along the backbone will have horrible looking air bubble/sacks and very dark flesh in the same area. Doesn’t affect eating them though.

Don’t think GTs come around here but still a big fish 🐟

You do get Giant Trevally (GTs) here at times, but usually only smaller ones, never heard of a big one caught here, maybe a kg or so, usually around the same time as the small Sampson fish during summer.
