juicy233
Hi everyone, I'm spending the week on a boat on the hawkesbury and am keen to catch some jewfish and am wondering if anyone has any tips on finding spots to anchor overnight and leave some baits out or getting jew on lures in the daytime. Last night we had a bit of a false alarm where someones rod went off and there was a berserk fish fighting for about 5 mins then we pulled it up and we're all super pumped because we thought it was a hairtail, however once the slimy demon was brought aboard the boat, we realized it was a pike eel. We had also had some success trolling from Sydney to the hawkesbury, catching a bonito.
odysea_yt
Hi mate, I'm not too sure but I think around 300m out of apple tree bay there is a big hole that's really deep, maybe there's jewies there. Cheers!
